Abstract

The article focuses on a study published in the September 29, 2015 issue of the journal "Cephalalgia" which shows that microemboli may play a role in certain migraine auras. Topics include the observation may have a limited relationship to the pathophysiology of migraine aura, and the detection of microembolic signals and investigation of the origin of microembolism could be a valuable tool for screening individuals with migraine with aura for ischemic stroke risk.
