Abstract

We report on a two-dimensional nonlinear photonic quasicrystal constructed by the generalized dual-grid method. One collinear optical parametric generation, cascading two noncollinear frequency doubling processes are realized for multiple second-order cascaded nonlinearities. Optical properties including wave propagating and temperature detuning characteristics were studied theoretically using the coupled nonlinear wave equations.
