Abstract
- In this article, the author discusses investigative journalism in Africa, totalitarian system of the government to punish journalist and work of Ghanaian investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas. He refers that a newspaper "The Pioneer" was closed down in 1962 due to be a main opposition paper during the regime of Ghana's President Kwame Nkrumah during 1957-1966. He also mentions work of Aremeyaw Anas in disguise and exploits psychiatric hospital in Accra, Ghana on abuse of mental patients.
