P060. Vitamin D deficiency in episodic migraine, chronic migraine and medication-overuse headache patients.

The article reports a common inflammatory pathogenesis for headache and hypovitaminosis D. The aim of the study was s to evaluate the relationship between vitamin D levels and headache frequency. Patients having a clinical history of episodic migraine and chronic migraine underwent d neurological and headache assessment, pharmacological evaluation, disability assessment and psychological evaluation. It was concluded that migraine patients have a high rate of hypovitaminosis D.
