Abstract
- The article discusses three challenges for the scholarship on instructional communication in the U.S. The authors advise scholars to move conversations away from a language of diversity toward a language of difference and to be accountable to the needs of populations. They encourage scholars to conduct research on difference, accountability and social justice that affect the scholarship on instructional communication.
