Carbon nanotube anions for the preparation of gold nanoparticle–nanocarbon hybrids.

Gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) can be evenly deposited on single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) via the reduction of the highly stable complex, chloro(triphenylphosphine) gold(i), with SWCNT anions (‘nanotubides’).
