Abstract

The article discusses the opinions of the U.S. public on the 2015 Education Next poll for determining the existing stand of the children and the schools. It sates that the supporters of the Common Core State Standards are against the the new method practiced by the U.S. Congress. The government's No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB) was rewritten for students testing in order to collect the performance data of the teachers and the school including a change in the tenure, merit pays and tax credits.
