South Carolina residents can reach dispatchers in several ways through new setup.

The article reports that Kershaw County in South Carolina has implement an advanced emergency 9-1-1 dispatch system which connects one county sheriff department, one emergency medical services (EMS) department, three police departments and 17 fire departments. It informs that with this next generation 9-1-1 system from Motorola Solutions, county dispatchers serve over 62,500 people with more than 100,000 calls a year.
