The Evaluation of Data Quality Based on Adjusted Benford's Law.

Benford's Law is one of the widely used methods for assessing data quality that has been applied in many fields such as economy, finance and audit. However, Benford's Law also has some limitations in practical application. In this paper we propose a new method through weighted and adjusted the Benford's Law. The simulation studies show that the new method is more effective than the traditional Benford's Law in aspect of assessing the data quality. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
