Abstract

Aiming at rotor system of magnetic bearing flywheel during launch vibration,a multidisciplinary optimization method based on sensitivity analysis is presented. By comparatively analyzing the resonance frequencies of flywheel rotor system under locking state with inner and outer locking constraints, the clamping outer locking scheme is adopted. Upon this,the sensitivity analysis of flywheel rotor is carried out,and the structure parameters with high sensitivity are selected as optimal design variables. The structural strength, inertia moment, control performance and first resonance frequency are concerned. By taking mass as the optimal objective, the flywheel rotor is optimized by sequential quadratic programming method. The optimization results show that the ratio of polar moment of inertia and mass reaches to the maximum of 0. 007. It is increased by 9. 4% compared with initial ratio of 0. 0064. The optimal method improves the design reliability and efficiency of flywheel rotor, and the first successful in-orbit experiment of magnetic bearing flywheel has great significance for space applications.
