Abstract
- Studies the effect of the RNA5 component on pathogenicity of beet necrotic yellow vein virus. Preparation of transcripts of beet necrotic yellow virus RNA5 from the cloned cDNA in a bacteriophage T7 in vitro run-off transcription system; Co-inoculation of RNA5 transcript and RNA extracted from BNYVY mutants; Improvement in virus infections and accumulation in the hosts.
