Abstract
- Surface plasmon (SP) holography produced by evanescent electromagnetic waves as a reconstruction light has been shown to be capable of effectively eliminating the zero order diffraction. In this paper, an interference model and algorithm based on point source and surface plasmon wave (SPW) are proposed, which is important to get the relief profile distribution of SP hologram theoretically. Numerical simulation of the reconstruction process is performed through finite element method (FEM) and the result verifies the feasibility of the proposed algorithm. The method could be viable for the development of SP holographic dynamic display technology. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
