Abstract

In our particular way of expressing ourselves, redacting, talking, writing#8230; either way, opening a space for communication with other colleagues, highlights our own and perhaps as sui generis medical style. In reality, no specialty has a heritage which as extensive as dermatology. It may be that different colleagues find it difficult for them to "decode" our semiological messages, which for us are quite simple, clear, and explicit. Oh surprise! When in an interconsultation our colleague who requested it exclaims: "now what does my colleague mean?"#8230; That's where we verify that we have reached a certain sublimity in our lineage, which for many is equivalent to a sea of descriptive confusion. To you our gentle reader, would you like to recall some of the peculiarities of our daily clinical jargon and that through the centuries has made us a special place among colleagues? In Spanish they are phonetically beautiful. We have managed to collect some comments about this different way of expressing ourselves. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
