Abstract
- The author offers a perspective on the use of U.S. census versus computer senses when it comes to searching for demographic information and other data. Examples of database for social studies and social science topics are cited that include the Population Clock section, American Factfinder, Quick Facts, and Population Map. It also differentiates cognitive computing from search engines in terms of their ability to dissect problems similar to that of the human brain.
