Abstract

The article discusses the association of the change in distal motor latency (DML) of median nerve with abundant A-waves in a patient with Guillain-Barré syndrome. It explores the paper by Hiraga and colleagues which reported that patients with acute inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (AIDP) in the absence of anti-ganglioside antibodies demonstrated progressive prolongation of DML of the median nerve.
