Abstract

At present times, many countries demand quality and added value of the goods they trade. It implies knowledge and technology adaptation in order to obtain agricultural products that are competitive at the international markets. In this regard, Good Agricultural Practices and Social Responsibility regulations, with their certification systems, formally help to demonstrate this "good doing". The aim of this paper is to analyze and promote that Quality Management Systems implementation, particularly Good Agricultural Practices and Social Responsibility regulations, are complementary at being able to comply with the Environmental Law applied to the argentine agricultural area. Its importance focus in that protection, preservation and recognition of the right to a healthy environment before the Constitutional amendment in 1994, was included in the category of the implied rights mentioned in section 33. This was considered as a historical landmark, and was incorporated in the second chapter named "New rights and guarantees", recognized in section 41 including the right to a healthy, equilibrated, suitable to a human development rights, and this directly relates to other rights such as quality of life, development, health, property and information among other.
