NÁROČNÉ SITUÁCIE V PRÁCI S NEGATÍVNYM DOPADOM NA RODINNÝ ŽIVOT.

This paper focuses on the content analysis of experienced demanding (stressful) situations in the workplace, with a consequent negative impact on family life. Data are obtained from a structured problem - focused interviews concentrated on the problems of coping with demands of both, work and family life. Responses from 45 couples, where both spouses are employed and take care of at least one child, are analyzed. Demanding (stressful) situations are characterized by long working hours, interpersonal relations in the workplace, organizational characteristics of the work itself, etc. The results indicate that regardless of the content, demanding (stressful) situation has almost always a negative impact on family life, which confirms the assumption that work role can not be easily separated from family life.
