Abstract
- The article discusses various studies which affirm the role of emotions in students' transitions, that were presented at the American Educational Research Association's national conference held in April 2016 in Washington, D.C. Topics covered include adaptive strategies of students to cope with stress, the effectiveness of an intervention to boost the well-being of transitioning students and the impact of a traumatic transition on a student's academic trajectory.
