Derechos de ciudadanía de las mujeres extranjeras víctimas de violencia de género, en situación irregular.

Organic Law 10/2011 of 27 July amending Articles 31a and 59a of the Organic Law 4/2000 of 11 January, on Rights and Freedoms of Foreigners in Spain and their Social Integration (LO 10/2011, 4/2000), is a step forward in the consolidation of citizenship rights of foreign women in an irregular situation, victims of gender violence in intimate relationships or former partner. This paper aims to make a differentiated analysis between the current and previous Law regulating the legal status of these women, as well as exposing the rights that have been granted by various existing laws.
