In the limited space such as given by this review, not all current developments, operations or acquisitions by the three national air forces (Austria, Germany, and Switzerland) can be portrayed profoundly. The image however remains, that aside all positive bilateral relations, the three German-speaking European services remain very different. This article examines the three air forces.
