Abstract

We have performed calculations for the ground states in 174W by using the projected total energy surface (PTES) calculations. Both the ground state (g.s.) band and its γ band reproduce the experimental data. Further discussion about the triaxiality in 174W has been made by transition quardrupole moment (Qt) and comparing between the PTES and TRS methods. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
