Grottes de Touen-Houang Carnet de notes de Paul Pelliot is published after great input of human and material resources, as one of the major achievements by Paul Pelliot in his exploration of Serindia. It is a significant reference for Dunhuang studies. By reading this book, we can learn about Pelliot's contributions to Dunhuang grotto arts researches, and his deep influences on Dunhuang studies. This paper describes Pelliot and his team's exploration of Dunhuang Grottos, as well as the compilation of Grottes de Touen-Houang Carnet de notes de Paul Pelliot and its significances for Dunhuang studies.
