Abstract

The article focuses on conceptualizing and integrating the practice called funds of literate identity regarding identification of literacy practices in teaching practices in the U.S. for English language. Topics discussed include creating self-portraits by multilingual students to express literate identity, using the research of professor Moisès Esteban-Guitart and Luis C. Moll to examine funds of literate identity through and expressing linguistic abilities by multilingual students.
