Abstract

The article reports on the result of a study on the type of schools with low graduation rates in the U.S. Topics covered include the findings that regular district schools account for 41 percent of schools that did not surpass the 67 percent graduation threshold while charter, virtual and alternative schools account for 52 percent of schools the fell short of the mark and the requirement of Every Student Succeeds Act for states to report graduation rates for schools with 100 or more students.
