Abstract

The article discusses the model called Three V's (volume, velocity and variety) of Big Data which serves as a guidance for the management of big data. Topics include the increase in data volume offered by technology companies, the technologies which have its own methods of capturing and publishing data such as radio-frequency identification and smart metering, and the emergence of the veracity of data which determines the importance of trustworthiness in third-party data.
