Abstract

A literary criticism of the book "Loeb Classical Library," published by the Harvard University is presented. It outlines terminology used by the author to engage Christian thought in writing as well as cultural translation, use of symbol to define pagan resistance, and description of emperor's reaction to Christianity. It examines the use of wrong translations without textual warrant.
