- The article reports that the chemical firm Dow has completed acquisition of 50 percent share of silicon maker Dow Corning from glass maker Corning and also highlights the prediction of Dow's chief executive officer (CEO) Andrew N. Liveris on rise in firm's annual cost and growth synergies.
