钬激光电切术对老年高血压患者前列腺增生的疗效及安全性.

Objective: To investigate the efficacy and safety of holmium laser and transurethral resection of prostate for treatment of elderly hypertensive patients with prostatic hyperplasia. Methods: The clinical data of 48 cases were retrospectively analyzed from January in2011 to January in 2013 in our department, then they were randomly divided into two groups, 24 cases in each group, were respectively treated with transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP group) and thulium laser (thulium laser group). The operation time, amount of bleeding during the operation, the time of hospitalization, the weight of the prostate, IPSS and QOL score and blood pressure change were observed and compared between two groups. Results: The operation time, amount of bleeding in surgery and the hospitalization time in holmium laser group was significantly lower than that of TURP group (P<0.05); and the postoperative prostate weight, IPSS score and QOL score and blood pressure in holmium laser group were lower than that of TURP group (P<0.05). Conclusions: Transurethral holmium laser in the treatment of elderly hypertensive patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia is safe and effective, and can be popularized in clinic.
