Abstract

Objective: To study the correlation of children allergic conjunctivitis with allergic rhinitis and the clinical effect of nasal-eye joint prevention and cure. Methods: We retrospectively analyzed the clinic data of 300 cases of children with allergic conjunctivitis and 310 cases of children with allergic rhinitis. We firstly analyzed the correlation of allergic conjunctivitis with allergic rhinitis. All the patients were randomly divided into control group and observation group. The control group adopted the method of routine eye treatment, and the observation group got the Bright Nose nasal spray combined with artificial tears treatment. Compare the clinical curative effect and adverse reactions between the two groups. Results: (1) Of 300 cases allergic conjunctivitis, 50 cases (16.67%) complicated with allergic rhinitis. Of 310 cases of allergic rhinitis, 59 patients (19.03%) complicated with allergic conjunctivitis (P>0.05). (2) The 109 cases complicated with two diseases at the same time all had scraping smear detection of conjunctiva and nasal mucosa, and Eosinophils were detected in 60 cases (55.05%) of conjunctival smears blade and 67 cases (61.47%) of nasal mucosa smears blade (P > 0.05). (3) The total effective rate was in control group, significantly lower than the observation group (P<0.05). The symptom scores in the two groups before and after treatment, BUT and corneal fluorescein staining scores were statistically significant different (P<0.05, P<0.01) but after treatment the differences of the above index were statistically significant between the two groups (P<0.05). Conclusion: Allergic conjunctivitis in children with allergic rhinitis has certain relevance. The Bright Nose nasal spay combined artificial tears eye treatment had distinct clinical curative effect on allergic conjunctivitis children with allergic rhinitis. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
