Abstract

An interview with scholar Jeff Diamanti is presented. He addresses the 2015 electoral victory of Alberta's New Democratic Party (NDP) in relation to environmental issues. The political significance of Alberta's fossil fuel industries is addressed. He discusses the links between the Alberta NDP and social movements. The ownership of fossil fuel resources is mentioned in relation to ecosocialism. Plans for an energy transition are noted.
