A variety of etiologies underlie the diagnosis of facial palsy in children. The aim of this paper is to bring into attention the complexity of the diagnosis and the multidiscilinary approach that needs to be taken to accurately diagnose and treat this condition in children, requiring a team that includes the pediatric neurologist, the ENT specialist, the oncologist, the neurosurgeon, the cerebral imagery specialist and ultimately the family and parents of the child.
