Abstract

The article presents a case study of venous thromboembolism in a 58-year old patient with persistent inhibitor to coagulation factor V (FV) deficiency. It states that prolongation of prothrombin time was detected in preoperative coagulation testing. It mentions that the patient was threated with anticoagulant therapy with low molecular weight heparin using enoxaparin.
