Abstract

The article comments on the court case United States of America v. Northern Illinois Special Recreation Association which focused on whether it was reasonable to require employees at a summer camp to administer seizure medication (Diastat) through a rectal syringe in a seizure emergency. Topics include the U.S. federal district court's decision on the same and the U.S. Americans with Disabilities Act requiring the U.S. Department of Justice to show that administering Diastat was reasonable.
