Abstract
- The article focuses on how parks and recreation agency can serve participants with medical needs such as child diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. Topics include the process for managing a medical modification request stated to mirror any other U.S. Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) modification request, and the process for medical modification in Raleigh, North Carolina which includes independent care and emergency care.
