Abstract

On November 4, 2003 Zaha Hadid Architects' design for a new 215,278-square-foot high-speed train station in Naples, Italy, was unveiled. Its fluid, almost liquid design flows as though moving over the tracks. The design is also determined by the trajectory of travelers, the architects explain.
