Abstract

A novel Pd(ii)–Pb(ii) bimetallic metal–organic framework Pd(ii)–Pb(ii)–MOF (B) which contains an N-heterocyclic tetracarbene Pd(ii) moiety was synthesized based on a chelating N-heterocyclic dicarbene Pd(ii)–NHDC ligand (A) under solvothermal conditions.
