Abstract
- The article presents Proclamation 9471 by U.S. President Barack Obama on the anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) in 2016. Topics include ADA's history that was enacted in 1990, its impact on the disability community, and the government's efforts to ensure that people with disabilities are welcome in the society.
