Abstract
- The article discusses the history of restaurants and the vegetarian movement in Great Britain. The author reflects on the publication of restaurant guidebooks by critic Nathaniel Newnham-Davis. Emphasis is also given to the restaurant scene in Victorian and Edwardian-era London, England, the vegetarian restaurant Eustace Miles Restaurant, and the health benefits of dishes.
