Abstract

The ediotor focuses on study conducted by the researcher T.S. Rector on threats of precautionary principle including risk management and unintended consequences. Topics discussed include requirement to watch out unintended consequences of treatment as well as initiatives to avoid the same, determination of patient with dose-dependent QT interval prolongation by the U.S. Food & Drug Administration and absence of adequate information and adherence to the precautionary principle may lead to harms.
