Abstract
- The article reports that the publication "Nursing Standard" has urged British Prime Minister Theresa May to rethink scrapping the nursing student bursary. Topics include replacement of the bursaries with loans and tuition fees from August 2017, development of more training places for healthcare professionals by the government's education funding reforms, and the urge of the Health Foundation charity for the government to have a backup plan in place in case future applicants are put off by debt.
