Abstract

The article focuses on the fatigue which is a prevalent and inconvenient symptom for patients with advanced cancer. Topics discussed include need for interventional studies like randomized controlled trials for the management of fatigue in advanced cancer patients, professional gatekeeping as a barrier in identification of advanced cancer patients and need for patient participation in order to get information about studies for fatigue and quality of life.
