Abstract
- The article presents the author's views on the need of developing a food and farming policy which supports both the food production and wildlife conservation in Great Britain. He refers to the report "State of Nature" which blames agriculture for the rapid decline of indigenous species in the country. He says that the report presents an outdated picture, and farmers are now focusing on conservation. He says that environmental lobbyists are giving preference to conservation over food production
