Abstract: The coupling between 1-(naphthalen-1-yl)benzo[h]isoquinoline and various styrene derivatives as well as unsaturated esters, amides and phosphonates proceeds under mild conditions and delivers the products in high yields and with often very high enantiomeric excesses.
