Abstract: The article presents news brief related to the defense. The U.S. Navy is working on a plan to launch an MQ-25 Stingray unmanned aircraft system by awarding two contracts to Boeing Co. and Lockheed Martin. Airbus Defense and Space, Dassault Aviation SA and Leonardo were awarded contracts for a two-year study to develop a medium-altitude, long-endurance remotely piloted aircraft. France, Germany, Italy and Spain are pursuing the new genreration of armed unmanned aerial vehicles
