Focusing on the library of Frauen*solidarität/Women's Solidarity the article discusses strategies against sexism and racism in subject cataloguing. As Frauen*solidarität is part of a development policy network and later joined the Austrian Library Network/Österreichischer Bibliothekenverbund the feminist practice of subject indexing of Frauen*solidarität is shown in relation to the thesaurus TWSE and to the SWD/GND.
