- Nanocrystalline HgI2 (7-52 nm) is prepared by solid gas reaction of Hg2(NO3)2 and I2 vapor either in glass capillaries, on microslides, or in a specifically designed glass channel (35 °C). [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
