Abstract

The agrarian capitalism advances in rural areas transforming and boosting them. It triggers off new territorial coverages and new social relations arising from these changes in the production system. The objective of this paper is to analyze the importance of a territorial study in the face of a dynamic rural incorporating the need for sustainable development. It aims to discuss issues related to territorial transformations in the presence of a dynamic rural on the border Brazil - Uruguay with the premise of sustainable development. We propose to present the dynamics of territory to understand the present agrarian structure, which consider the approach of various social actors and new production systems that require the development of rural areas. Methodologically it makes use of instruments such as documentary and bibliographic research, direct observation and semi-structured interviews with qualified informants using the dialectical method and qualitative approach to data analysis. The results show that the various persons present to remain at the current insert themselves in the productivist logic diversifying production, using technologies and selling their labor strength. We conclude that the countryside should be understood as the territory of incorporation of the capital derivatives of agrarian transformation and social inter-relations of the same with the environment. The reconfigured rural emerges as an agrarian space that should be focused on the social, economic and environmental vision in the dynamics of social relations of the territory with nature. To achieve the rural sustainable development facing the territorial dynamics we should focus multifunctionality of rural areas supported on the family production. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
