Abstract
- The article reports on the expected launch of a pilot program aimed at providing free Wireless-Fidelity (Wi-Fi) hotspots to public school families in three library systems in New York City. The Brooklyn Public Library, the New York Public Library and Queens Library have partnered with Google and Sprint for the program. Five thousand hotspots will be available for qualified applicants.
