Abstract

The article focuses on the failure of the particle accelerator Large Hadron Collider to find evidence for the physics theory of supersymmetry (Susy). It states that particles predicted by Susy would help explain dark matter and peculiarities of the Higgs boson which has a mass much smaller than expected. It mentions the failure of the Large Hadron Collider to verify Susy or other new physics could make it difficult to justify plans to build larger colliders.
