Abstract
- The article reports that according to the third quarter State of the Internet Security report submitted by cloud service provider Akamai Technologies Inc., Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) and web application attacks have increased in the third quarter of 2016. It states that on average there were 30 DDoS attacks per target, and the top DDoS attack of 623 Gbps was directed against security blogger Brian Krebs.
